Laura Noland, M.Ed., BCBA
Founder and CEO
Ms. Noland, a dedicated educator with a passion for supporting children with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and developmental disabilities, entered the field as a direct therapist in a school setting in 2003.
She obtained her Education Specialist Credential and Master’s in Education at California State University Monterey Bay. Ms. Noland proudly served as a special education teacher at various levels, while deepening her experience and training in applied behavior analysis.
Ms. Noland became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and served as Director of Education and Clinical Services at a non-public school. Over a decade, she managed a team of special education professionals and oversaw educational and clinical services.
In 2021, Ms. Noland became the school’s Director of Community Engagement and Development, overseeing marketing, communications, philanthropy, and new business development. At this time, she also chaired the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Council for a large, nationally recognized non-profit and mentored newly credentialed special education teachers as an Induction Coach.
With 20 years of experience supporting school-aged children, Ms. Noland became concerned about the growing need for adult service providers. In 2024, she founded Poppy Behavioral Services to continue supporting individuals into adulthood.
